A brand refresh for Scotland’s Lift Specialists

Hart Lifts is a thriving independent family business, headquartered in Bishopbriggs. With 25 years of successful business behind them, the team were keen to review their communications and messaging to more effectively capture their true strengths and values, creating a basis to consolidate their relationship with current clients and attract new contracts. 

Specifically, the team at Hart Lifts identified a need to update their website, and were already talking with a web developer. I stepped in to support this process by creating a brief for the new site that included fully updated written content as well as recommendations for its navigational structure and visual brand, all designed to communicate their breadth of experience, and their pride in their expert team. 

By developing a detailed understanding of the competitive environment for lift installation and maintenance, I redefined the brand message for Hart Lifts, developing a Brand Toolkit that now forms the basis for all of their website content. By highlighting their defining strengths as a trusted family business operating from a base in Scotland, Hart Lifts have built a brand that celebrates their credentials as a great-value alternative to their larger national and global competitors. Their new messaging is expressed through their new website, launched in January 2020, which now takes its place at the heart of an emerging digital communications strategy that will help Hart Lifts continue their trajectory of sustainable organic growth.
