A digital brand for Scotland's Civil Engineering Specialists

‘Thank you for your input with both the Marketing Strategy recommendations and website which was very beneficial to our company moving forward.’

Andrena Kirkwood, Rainton Construction Scotland

Rainton Construction Scotland is a civil engineering company specialising in high quality workmanship with natural stone. Working on high-profile public realm contracts and major commercial projects, they combine skilled, intelligent workmanship with top quality natural products to deliver outstanding hard and soft landscaping outputs throughout Scotland and beyond.

With a track record in successfully delivering major civil engineering projects spanning a wide range of settings such as high streets, university quadrangles and railway platforms, the success of the business to date is owed largely to their excellent reputation for quality services. Having recently commissioned their first website, however, the team at Rainton Construction Scotland were keen to review their overall communications and brand messaging in order to ensure consistency between their on- and offline marketing activities, and to ensure that their new site presented an accurate reflection of their true strengths and points of differentiation.

Following a consultation with the head office team, I reviewed their existing printed marketing materials and researched the communications and messaging trends within the wider world of civil engineering, in order to produce recommendations for the development of a differentiated brand identity for Rainton Construction Scotland. Using this as a basis, I created content and a recommended page structure for their new website, which was already in construction at the time, as well as recommending specific updates to the content and structure of their existing print marketing materials.
