Escape to Finglen: from Lifestyle Business to Accommodation Brand

With 15 years’ experience of providing luxury B&B accommodation at their beautiful Scottish home, Finglen House, Sabrina and Douglas Campbell were ready to take their business up a gear, transforming Finglen into year-round hospitality business with real destination appeal.

In June 2019, they built their first hand-made glamping cabin in the grounds of Finglen House. By early 2020 they were keen to focus on increasing the occupancy of their existing accommodation offer and, potentially, to develop a more extensive ‘off-grid’ self-catering accommoation offer within their woodland grounds.

I was delighted to support Douglas and Sabrina in redeveloping and refining the presentation, positioning and digital marketing of the Finglen brand. As they prepared to begin proactively attracting visitors to Finglen as an experiential destination in its own right, I worked with Douglas and Sabrina to create target customer profiles that served as the basis for our brand and communications development work, and for the creation of a new, social-media-led digital marketing strategy for Finglen.

Today, Douglas and Sabrina are looking forward to a bright future for Finglen, offering chilled-out chic and a warm Scottish welcome just 30 minutes from Glasgow.
